The end of August… finally! Here’s Tania and Jason’s wedding from a gorgeous summer day on the last day in August. I started the morning off by meeting the girls at the salon while they were getting their hair done, swung by Tania and Jason’s house quickly as that’s where the guys were getting married and then over to Tania’s parents’ house for the girls final prep. For the formal shots we hopped around to a couple of locations including the arboretum at Bellevue Park, the Kiwanis Community Centre Theatre and then the boardwalk with just Tania and Jason. From there we had a rocking, if not event filled, reception at the Marconi Hall. Tania is a local dance instructor and to incorporate that to their first dance she choreographed a dance with some of her students. This biggest moment however came just as dinner was closing when we lost power for about 20-30 minutes. Nobody let that phase them though and we continued along with the night including a sing along led by Tania’s brother on guitar. The best moment of the night then occurred when the MC was trying to keep spirits up and said “at this point I’m supposed to stay – DJ GET THE PARTY STARTED” and as soon as he finished that sentence BOOM the power came back on. It was crazy. People thought we set up but it was just one of those right place, right time moments.
Thanks for the crazy awesome day guys!
