Rachel and Ryan were married in Bar River at Ryan’s uncle’s farm. I absolutely dig outdoor weddings and outdoor weddings at unique and cool locations just make them that much more awesome. Bryan was along as a second shooter for the day and was able to grab a lot of the details of the farm and the reception. It was a good morning as well, Bryan hung out with the guys at the farm and I spent it having breakfast with the girls – sometimes I get the hard job.
Now moving on to the “this will most likely not happen at your wedding” story of the day: in a weird set of circumstances I actually ended up driving Rachel and Ryan to their hotel after the reception. Bryan and I were tearing down the Awesome Booth and continued mingling with guests while doing it. After everything was loaded in the car it was a lot later than when we actually planned on leaving. We headed back into the reception to say bye to Rachel and Ryan and no one was left. So after moving some equipment around; Rachel, Ryan and Ryan’s box of pizza hopped in the car and off to their hotel. True story.
Thanks for the great day guys!
just awesome buddy
i love the ones with the guys on the roof!!
Great job, I love this couple ever since the engagement shots! I love all the barn shots, and am surprised that you didn’t get up on top of the barn with the rest of the guys, probably because, knowing your luck, you would have falling of the roof!
These look fantastic… It’s cool seeing them in their final form. I still can’t believe those guys were up on that barn roof… Crazy buggers, lol.
Love the pictures. You inspire me.
Jeez Curt, I can`t believe how big that barn is!
Super job on this wedding mate.
Absolutely LOVE them Curt! We had such a beautiful day and want to thank you for capturing it! You did a fantastic job! Pictures are the only visual memory we will have of our day so it was really important for us to have a great photographer. Needless to say, you went over and above our expectations!
If you’re looking for a photographer and want one that makes you feel like you’ve known him for years, one that you feel comfortable with and will make your day even more fun… Curt is the guy.
Thanks Curt! Hope to see you again soon!
Wow – really impressive! Rachel & Ryan’s wedding was very special, and you caught the mood and the location exactly. Everyone looks relaxed & part of the shoot, not the usual “oh no, not one more pose…”. They were lucky to have you. Your portfolio is great – you are a real artist!
[…] was a unique one for me because I knew the majority of people heading in; I met most of them at Rachel and Ryan’s wedding last year which always makes it fun when you’re reconnecting. We did the majority of formal shots at […]
