Here’s Rachel and Adam’s wedding from the end of June. Rachel is the third sister’s wedding that I’ve shot in the family and Adam is a member of the Beards slo-pitch team so to say I knew the parties involved here would be an understatement. Their ceremony and reception were held at the Algoma Music Camp on St. Joseph Island; a location that Rachel knew she wanted her wedding the first time she visited. I started the morning by heading to Rachel and Adam’s house to meet up with the groomspeople as they were getting ready; from there it was off to Rachel’s parents’ house for the finishing touches for Rachel and the bridesmaids. Because Rachel and Adam were having a late ceremony which was moving right into the reception they opted to have a first look and do their bridal party photos before the ceremony. The first look happened in Rachel’s parents’ backyard and for the formal session we used different parts of the island that we saw on our way to the music camp. Rachel, Adam and myself were able to sneak away after dinner just before the sun set to get a few more photographs before the party got under way.
Thanks for the awesome day guys and for keeping the hotdog sock streak intact!
