PAWsome Booth Spring 2012 was two crazy filled days – I don’t have the final number of dogs and cats we shot during the two days handy at the moment but there were definitely a lot of them! Our youngest was an adorable 8 week old Corgi puppy by the name of Finnigan and the oldest was super laid back 16-year old Tao. It was great seeing all of the different breeds and ages of dogs that came through as well as the 4 cats we had come in this time around as well.
In total we raised $630 and 135 food items for the Soup Kitchen Community Centre! So I thank all of you for your support in that. I also need to send a HUGE THANK YOU out to my volunteers for the days who helped sign you guys in, gave you all your info and helped me up in the shooting area, so to Shelby, Tony, Heather, Candace, Beth and Sonia thank you so much – PAWsome Booth wouldn’t be what it is without your help. And I also need to give a big thanks to Jenn and Steve from loplops! They graciously allow us to use their space to put this event on and without the space it isn’t possible.
And now to the part you’ve possibly been waiting for. Last night during tear down and pack up Ryan who came by to let us use his truck to move all the gear and cans pulled the winning name from the very official looking beer pitcher – the winner of the 16×24 canvas (any shot from the session of your choosing) is Wendy with her dogs Echo and Timber! And below is one of their shots from their session, Echo is the Aussiedoodle on the left and Timber is the Golden Retriever on the right.
