I met up with Melissa and Jacey at the construction site for their new home that they are building east of Sault Ste Marie; from there we ended the shoot at Melissa’s parents’ farm near Desbarats. Driving out to the shoot we had super awesome clouds in the sky that were going to make the perfect backdrop for the fields etc; and then the big wind came in and blew them away just as we were getting started. Mother Nature; if only I could control her. The wind made the shoot a little more challenging as it would decide to blow any random thing around on us while prepping for the shot: Melissa’s hair, Melissa’s shirt, my toupee, the light stands etc. Melissa and Jacey powered through it though with the mentality that they were getting married in the fall and might as well put up with the weather now if it is going to be doing the same thing on the day.
