Ever have a vision of something in your head formed from TV and movies and recollections from when you were younger only to have that vision be completely wrong? Enter the midway/carnival that was just in the Sault for the past week. Kim and Aaron had the awesome idea of hitting up the carnival for their engagement shoot and we dreamed of crazy colours, crowded walkways and fun rides; instead we got bland ran down rides, lack of people and a not-so-fun fun house. But Kim and Aaron still rocked it and we made the best of what was offered to us.
Some of the great highlights include the fun house which featured a main floor with a mirror maze which led to stairs, which then led to a slide that ended the fun house. Seriously, mirrors, stairs, slide. Then there was the carousel in which we were not allowed to ride the horses; it kind of defeats the purpose of the carousel but we made it work. And finally the ever so dangerous bumblebee ride where you are not allowed on unless you have a child with you; thankfully the carny clued in to what we were doing and let Kim and Aaron on the ride by themselves. Go bumblebee carny!
Thanks for the great night guys and I’m looking forward to your wedding in October.
These are awesome, Curt! You guys definitely made it work!! It doesn’t look like a crappy midway at all, and the gorgeous couple sure rocked it. Nice set!!
