It’s only appropriate that Katie and Robbie’s engagement session shows up on Halloween because during their session we took a little ride in a classic convertible down a haunted bush road on Pine Island. For a little back story I met up with Katie and Robbie at Robbie’s uncle’s place on Pine Island; they had a nice classic Chevy truck and a old school convertible sitting out waiting for us to use during the session. About midway through the session Robbie’s uncle asked if we wanted to take the convertible up to the “mountain” but we had to do it before sunset. We said sure and along the way the story unfolded. As we turned on to the bush road toward the mountain Robbie’s uncle began the story of how a resident on the island wanted to make the road we were on a private drive and had put a metal chain up to block it off from general use. Then one night an ATVer was travelling the road, it was dark and he didn’t know the chain was there. BOOM! He ran full speed into the chain, decapitating him completely. Now that headless ATVer haunts the trail and mountain, driving his ATV and holding his head inside his helmet with glowing green eyes every full moon. Now we all took the story in good fun except for someone who I won’t name but she may have been sitting in the back seat. To top the adventure off as we were heading back out of the bush road and the sun was setting and the trail getting dark the car stalled midway up the hill and started to roll a bit… and there was a noise in the bush!
Thanks for the great night guys!
